West Leigh Infant School

We would like to extend a very warm welcome to you and your child. When your children join the school, you as parents, automatically become members of 'Friends of West Leigh Schools'. Our main aim is to raise funds for the schools, sponsor some special events for the children and provide experiences for them. Ideally this is to provide extra facilities for the school. However in the current financial climate with restricted budgets the extra funds may be needed to replace necessary equipment. In either case the funds are used to the direct benefit of your children.

Fundraising is generated through a variety of enjoyable events and schemes such as Christmas/Summer Fayres, Quiz nights, sales of Adventure Island tickets through our sponsors Scott & Stapleton or our ‘Friends of West Leigh Schools' lotto. We also like to partner with local businesses who offer sponsorship or discounts for Friends of West Leigh Schools along with Mother’s Day, Father’s Day sales or merchandise such as WLS Summer hats.  

We are included in the weekly newsletter to keep you informed of all the events organised by Friends of West Leigh Schools and any items we have on sale.  Look out for our noticeboards in the Reception and Infant walkways and in the Junior playground.

We hope you will be able to support us as we are all working together to provide the best for our children.

We are always looking for volunteers, any time you can give or ideas you’d like to share is greatly appreciated.
